I'm hoping he sees Gbamin and Delph as first team options as Schneiderlin and Gomes should never play together.

I agree, but isn’t Gbamin rumoured to be out for the season?

And Delph hasn’t had a clean bill of health for years.

Silva said it’s serious. Rumours it’s a six month job.

Nobody knows how long Gbamin will be out, don’t think anyone has suggested that he is out for the next 9 months, could be back before Christmas, maybe sooner , maybe longer.

Let’s hope your “someone” is correct, and the “someone” on here was wrong, then 🤞🏼

Yes in his post match presser he said it’s serious, he is likely to be out for “some weeks”  I’m sure that he has a rough idea of whether it’s a matter of  weeks, months or season ending.

It's a perfect storm of shit. DCL poor movement, Sigurdssons fantastic hiding, Gomes and Morgan's safety first passing. It's a horrible combination infinitely worse than the sum of the parts
I think Schneiderlin played okay last night and did his job well, his ball to Coleman for the DCL open goal miss was also very good. I think he's getting a bit of a rough ride cause Gomes was so poor and it's unwarranted

He did. The balance of that midfield is still poor on their best day though

The game last night had echoes of the Fulham game towards the end of last season, easy for teams who can nulfiy our wide play and shut up shop to beat us.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal who all came to Goodison were rolled over by us becuase they try to play against us and when teams do that we can be brilliant. Fact is though that only maybe 7 other teams in the league will try this, the rest just have an easy blueprint to beat us. Marco needs to earn his money on this one and figure this out.
