A better team than Watford and we'd be out. If that's Marco's response to poor football then he's in trouble and so are we. I really want him to succeed but his side reflects him imo... Puppy eyed and lacking fight

Won 2-0, hit the bar twice, had one cleared off the line and I don’t recall Pickford making any saves.

Really wasn’t that bad. We would’ve all took that before the game.

Can go into spurs now with the cloud lifted somewhat.

Agree about the cloud lifting somewhat. The problem is though that his position is so bad it’s must win against spurs too and Southampton. He needs a run of results just for the majority not to want him sacked at the first loss. It feels like it’s extremely unlikely now for him to survive and be a success here

4 points from those games and a win against Norwich is sound and very plausible.

Having read the stuff on here and from social media last night I think the fans are pretty much gone though, so unless we catch fire it’s does seem inevitable.

More worried about Delph playing instead of Davies.

Silva will likely keep his job until at least the Derby on Dec 4, mostly because Rafa's done with the Chinese Super League on Nov 30. He's not my choice, but the alternative is someone like ugh, Moyes.

They’re not the only two managers in the world.

I'm not up for making a big fuss about all this stuff. Just get on with it and stop whining. In hindsight I more or less agree with decisions. Keane at Burnley was justifiable, Alli yesterday was touch and go, Son should not have been sent off.

You’re trying too hard to be contrary here.

Been wondering when something would be said about the data narrative.

I check Infogol and caley graphics after every game and we've been so consistently up on our xg vs opponents... Not always massively up by a clear goal say, but generally we've looked the better side in the numbers. We should almost certainly have had a few draws out of those losses, or maybe a win or two had we been the fortunate ones.

Infogol even do a fairness rating for the weeks fixtures, and generally when losing we've been ranked one of the most unfair results of the weekend if not the most unfair.

Have to just try and get through December. Don't take too many bumming. Should be fine.

That said, it could all go Nathan Jones.

Yep. Twice this season the opposition manager has said they didn’t deserve the win when they beat us and if we lost that spurs game it would’ve been unjust.

I can’t recall a win silva has had during his time here where I’ve come away thinking we got away with one there, but so many other times thinking how have we lost that game.

Hopefully we see these stats come to fruition in the next couple of months.

Just need to focus on our home games in December. We should be looking at 12 points from Norwich, Chelsea, Arsenal and Burnley. Get to the end of the year in the top half, Gbamin and Bernard ready to come back, cheeky little delve into the market and things could still come good.

Fully aware it could go completely the other way though, but we’re not a team that takes bummings under silva.

Also, a bit of fucking luck would be nice.

Would rather put up good defensive numbers than attacking numbers.

Probably no basis to it but I think good defensive numbers will come through more than good attacking numbers.

More about the set up of the team, than individual players isn’t it.

It’s a manager who went into a squad of players, realised they were struggling in the attacking third so changed the system to create overloads.

How we long for something similar instead of 4231 every week.

Moyes will play him all the time.

Why do people keep saying this?

He’s the complete opposite of a moyes type player imo.
