Best Keeper in the world is easily between, De Gea, Lloris and Courtois (how has no one mentioned him yet btw?)

Because he doesn't play in the Prem anymore?

Tosun is better than Niasse

There, I said it

But but but but what about his smile? And hard work? And effort after Koeman didn't give him a locker? And his Russian player of the year award?

Generation now

Want everything instantly, massive tantrums when they don't get it

We aren't the first team to bring in a new manager, a bunch of new players, and not click straight away, and we won't be the last, on top of the fact we've had a long injury list, which most people are ignoring

6 games in, fucking cranks

Wonder when he’ll switch to 4-3-3 and how he’ll do it

Nahhhh, full FM

   Mina Keane Zouma
Coleman            Digne
         Gana Gomes
      Richarlison DCL

Fullbacks proper bombed on constantly, Gana covering side to side rather than up the pitch, Siggy/Bernard interchangeable, or Lookman/Walcott for more attacking, Richarlison in pretty much a free role, with DCL/Tosun as fixed striker with the others doing more movement....

What the fuck did people do with their time before Xg and other stats were invented?!

We're playing better football than last year, can't we leave it at that?  :)

If we were playing twice as good a football as last year at the beginning of this season and playing one and a half times better than that the last 4 games, how many sweeties each should we have after the next game?

Moyes out??

Big worry is the dip in form of the new players Digne,Gomes,Mina Not the same extent but Zouma as well, they all hit the ground running and all have dipped dramatically over the last few games, without comparing recent regimes too soon it's hard not to feel a bit of deja vu.

They're all used to having a Xmas break for a little rest and feet up  ;)

Chelsea fans comments tonight:

Isn't Ross Barkley supposed to be a "creative" player in the midfield? Never see him make a clever pass to open defences! Why does David Luiz and Rudiger have to make the killer pass, if Barkley is supposed to the "creative one"

I think it boils down to money spent and raised expectations.

We had many seasons as you described under Moyes and finished in or around 7th most of his time here, but we accepted that as we knew broadly that in terms of spend we were probably over achieving.
We still wrote off about 30 points a season playing the bigger sides but delivered consistently against the rest in the latter years.

Now we’ve upped our game off the pitch and raised expectations accordingly, not just our fan base but the wider footballing public. It’ll take time to rectify the mistakes of the past few years but that bar is still higher than it ever used to be, some might say rightly so as it gives us targets to aim for.

The second half of the season will be interesting but I do fear that if we deliver our usual paltry return against the bigger sides at home he’ll have additional pressure on his shoulders.

Yes we've spent a lot, but so have most other teams above us

Way behind City and United in net spend (100s of million), 20 odd mill less than Arsenal, 30 odd mill more than Chelsea and the shite

Only massively out spent Spurs of the top 6

So whilst we are spending a lot, it's not like everyone else is standing still, so we aren't going to be catching up that rapidly

Just hope to fuck we bin off zonal marking. The players clearly don't understand it

Anyone able to explain why it should work?

Just throwing it in here...………
was having a chat Saturday with some colleagues re manu's turnaround and solksjaer's influence..

what we all agreed on was he's using the same players that Mourinho what's the difference was the question asked...

we all agreed the difference is the players attitude to playing...the players all now seem happier and play with a smile on their of my colleagues works at manu and he said basically solskjaer spoke to the players asked them where they wanted to play and what system they preferred he now plays them there...Pogba being the prime example...Mourinho wanted him to be the holding defensive player..he wanted to push forward and get involved up front, push into the box and basically have a free role...look at him now....

So what's this to do with our current predicament ? see any similarities with us ? do our players play with smiles on their faces in positions they like/want to play in...….maybe a lesson to be learnt here for Marco....

"So lads, where do you fancy playing?"

Gana - Paris

Richarlison/Bernard/Lookman/Siggy - attacking left mid

Almost as bad as the "should've kept Duffy" shouts after he had one good game

It could change as the season goes on, but as it stands now we look like a team that's spent a lot of money to stand still.

Sent from my SM-G960F using NSNO Everton Forums mobile app

This statement gets thrown around a lot, like nobody else spends anything to improve themselves

Our net spend was less than City, United, Arsenal, Spurs and Wolves

The shite didn’t need to do much to their squad

Chelsea have a transfer ban

So who exactly are we out spending to overtake??
