Well his contract would be running out now. We’d have saved 10 million and probably lost nothing. Not much point replacing 1 shit manager with another (with hindsight)

We’d have saved £10m (which let’s be honest is peanuts at the moment), our squad would be full of players aged 30+ who were generally shit but getting paid a ton and we may have even seen a shot on target by this stage of the season

We were still in for another CM even on deadline day though, so clearly not the finished midfield revamp

It’s hard not to be angry. This season has gone in September. Performances and results apart from a small spell at the end of last season have been somewhere between below par and inept. All the same old problems. Still no striker, still a playmaker who doesn’t want the ball. Still central midfielders who contribute nothing defensively. Still mentally weak. There’s 2 quality teams in the league now and we’ll be lucky to finish in the top 10. Leicester are lightyears ahead of us and the same with Rodgers ahead of silva

Long term plan. We’ll all die of old age before we produce anything worth talking about for more than a single season

We’re still in two cups

Unfortunately so are city and Liverpool. It’s September too. Even we couldn’t get knocked out the FA Cup in September

So the season isn’t over yet then  although if you want to be that pessimistic I don’t understand why you follow us in the first place? City and Liverpool are always in the cups, we aren’t going to be challenging the top 6 who outspend us, and the battle for 7th isn’t aiming high enough

Can someone give the gist of the article. I don’t want to click on an echo link as it’s like deliberately getting herpes...

The training pitch was previously visible from the car park, we’ve erected some form of barrier so it isn’t anymore, the players are apparently pleased with this

If he’s on the verge what the fuck happens when we waste the international break and West Ham beat us?

Brands spends it speaking to prospective replacements, perhaps negotiating a fee with their club if they’ve already got a job, so we’re set to get someone in as soon as Silva gets the boot?

Was he? Why did he want Zaha so badly then?

Time to throw Kean in surely, and Richarlison back on the left where he’s best
