That’s the whole point of the thread fella.

We post about how the manager is performing and things like his his subs will be discussed.

I personally would’ve kept sigurdssson well away from the pitch and not ruined the shape of our midfield.

I do understand how the forum works ...but again it's all Silvas fault when in reality he was using what he had to try and get us in the game ...namely our two biggest threats so far this season.

Fair point, but it did rather play into his preferred method of changing things which is to generally lash as many attacking players on as possible and hope it somehow works. Which is rarely does.

Which is all fair enough ...but in reality we hadnt any other options on the bench v city .. ...or for most of the season .

He had a cracking game yesterday and he had a cracking game against Stoke three years ago at Goodison .....hardly a world beater, has a touch of the Ross about him goes missing way too much ...loses the ball too much and doesn't track back .. .no thanks ...is he actually better than Wallcot ? we need an upgrade not a similar player 95% of the time .

Is it time to discuss Schneiderlin?

Is there a way back for the much maligned figure?

As far as I'm concerned every player on our Rota has a chance at a place
....if they keep the performance up ....why the hell not .. .we can't be choosey .

We know he was a cracking player too once ....not sure what happened to him ....but even be can do it if he gets his head straight .

Another massive about-face on a player I see.

Now he's the answer to our prayers after a brief cameo against a shit side.

From whipping boy to saviour in 90 minutes.

Phenomenal.

Don't really think anyone thinks he's the saviour ...but if he pulls his tripe out he deserves minutes .. as does anyone who's giving their all .

They do seem to be getting better at every bit of defending ....but I'm sure the two DM's is helping too ...an extra defensive brain in there .

Hope it continues .

Pickford had an absolute mare. ...but he wasn't alone in mistakes today either ....poorly giving the ball away and bad clearances as well as the offside goal ...but fuck we are shithouse .

Go out and spend 10-15mil on a keeper.

Nick pope, somebody like that. Someone who will be a back up but you know they can do a good job when called upon.

Pickford needs to be dropped after that today but look at the alternatives we have at the moment.

Exactly this Stek doesn't worry him one iota ....need a young ballsy kid to breathe down his neck .

Brands letting us know that we won't spending massive money on a striker:

Echo rehashing a story from early in the season ...it may still be revalent but it's old news ....slow news week for the redshite rag .

So now we’ve had a few days to calm down, what’s the consensus on the Fulham game?

Did Silva get something wrong tactically or is that one on the players for being complacent?

In all honesty think our team expected them to roll over ...couple that with a slow response from Silva to change it up ....was a monkey fucking a football all round .

I know what you mean and probably around better players you get a boost to your levels but if he's never been a prolific player of this type beyond his own end product backed up by set pieces then what does that mean for him as a player rather than those around him.

It's not that we are trying to reach people in the box, across the whole team we are not making those passes enough compared to the rest of the league.

I get what your saying here brap .. but everyonw and his dog can see were streets ahead of our creating last year ...hopefully it's on an upward curve ...especially if you look at the Arsenal ,West ham games ..wasteful deffo but creating more easily.

Merson, Thompson and Nicholas ripping into us as usual on Soccer Saturday, got no chance of top 6 next season apparently. Stelling was the only one who gave us credit and said he thinks that with the right recruitment this summer we will get top 6, maybe even push for top 4

Love the doubters having a pop ...all the more satisfying if and when we break the 'sky' six ...and put the fuckers noses out of joint. ....aside Merson the coke habit probably did that already.

Or maybe Silva has had a lot of help becoming better tactically lately? Mad just to blame the players for not taking on board his way of playing, giving him way more credit than he deserves, because he was fucking awful up until recently, as long as we have progress it dosen't matter but why can't it be that it's Silva who has improved and learned...

In reality I think it's a combination on both the team  and a young manager learning his trade ...either way it stands us in good stead moving forward .....we are the first team to have allowed him time to overcome the slump .
