Actually work on your plan or leave, please.

I don't think he knows how to coach attacking positioning regardless of the team shape.

All of our good movement during build-ups comes from players who learned how to move without the ball at top sides, plus Davies (whose off the ball talents are a gift we're wasting).

Unsworth's team selections were insane. He got it right one time at the end but the rest of his time was terrifying.

I was the #1 person beating the Unsworth drum after Koeman but now that I've seen him in action... never again.

Arteta has the coaching background to improve our build-up play and attacking movement, which is the main thing we lack at the moment.

Brands handles recruitment anyway so lack of "managerial" experience not such a big deal.

I'm still kind of astonished that he keeps turning out the same dull game plan every week.

It's pretty apparent that every mid-to-lower-table side know exactly how to deal with us.

If we're going to make these 'close your eyes and hope' appointments we've got to give the fella a couple of years at least. Surely we knew the risk and took it on board.
If we actually thought we were working to a plan the implications for future appointments are much worse.

Huh?

If we're going to [do stupid thing] then surely we've got to [compound stupidity by not rectifying it].

I think the only reason we play Richarlison on the right is that the only other option is Walcott. Silva wants him on the left as well, which is why he was banging on all summer about wanting a left footed right winger.

Was he? Why did he want Zaha so badly then?

It would be worth every penny for the club to hire a set piece specialist.

Not just to improve our defending but we should be scoring a lot more goals with the takers we have and Yerry Mina to aim at.
