That was disgusting blowing the whistle on our attack, seeing as they have time-wasted so much.

I’ll always compare it, that would never happen if the RS were attacking.

DCL more likely to take Tosun's place.

To be fair, Tosun is taking attention away from DCL by occupying the CBs

Having Billing saunter over to take every throw-in is such a shithouse tactic.

Although, to be fair, their squad is garbage and this is probably the only way they're getting points this year.

DCL: another half-chance from the 6-yd box.  Let's go 4-4-2.

No need.

It is BECAUSE he is coming in from out wide that he is causing problems: harder to mark, mismatch with a full-back, drifting in, just like Richarlison.

Silva’s system is geared for this.

We've shaded it on the balance of play, but again look as though we'll concede on every ball into our 6-yd box.

So much for a home banker.  We need to get the ball forward quickly; before these can get into their shape.

Think Tosun and Calvert Lewin playing well together for me. Enjoying how we are playing and we are defending well outside of the setpieces. We are definitely the better side here we just need to make our quality tell. Digne already looks like a very astute signing he's very Baines like which is the highest compliment I can give him

Nothing special today. No Richarlison, there seems to be a lot less penetration. Still! We should have enough to beat these. They're not much cop, are they?

Decent English Stream, for those with Arabic commentary. :)  https://premierleague-lives.com/live/everton-live-stream-21/channel-1/

I still like Zouma.  He's a monster. Wish we could sign him permanently.

Someone is just not zoned in. We're always good for a BTTS bet.

Need to move it from side to side with switches a bit more quickly.

We’ve tried to force it through the middle too quickly a number of times.

It was better in this regard for the last 10 mins.

Holgate losing every ball up against their ST.

Can’t be conceding every time they get a corner. Need to sort that out.

Walcott not really been able to get into the game.

Digne looks the business.

DCL is a real specimen of a man. Could jump out of the stadium if he wants to.

Hopefully put them to bed in the second half.

One thing we've needed to learn for years is real intensity.

We dont have it enough and often like today we need the opposition to score to get going full gas.

Coleman and Walcott haven’t clicked so far this season, seem to be stepping on each other’s toes in the same space

Too many possessions where our "front four” just stand horizontally in front of their defensive line. There's nothing the midfield (or the fullbacks) can do with that.

We need some sort of consistent movement between the lines or we're going to keep banging our head against the wall.
