Did everyone get through without injury then?

Just a slight question over Gana, but has until sunday like

Not sure myself. I've not heard anything other than Gana, and perhaps, Kenny?

Play Dowell or loan him to someone who will.

He has too much potential as an open play passer and free kick specialist to waste away on our bench.

Who do you drop for him?

Surely not, surely not in this form?

I still don't see all the screaming potential here. He's not bad, by any means, but he's not likely to be a breakout player in more than a squad role.

He can't even get 20-30 minutes at the end of a match when we need someone who can pass the ball and potentially unlock a set defense.

That's not good for his development.

I agree mate, would love to see more of him but you’d be the first to admit our midfield’s the most precariously balanced part of the side.

We are very, very open even with 3 midfielders who get through tons and tons of work. Opportunities might not have arisen just yet.

I think he’ll get minutes when we’re a bit more settled and reliable maybe. would have helped if he’d made more of a case for himself in the cup too, but is what it is.

Don't see where Dowell fits in to be honest. Lookman seems first option off the right flank, the left is sewn up with the two Brazilians and he doesn't seem keen to use him centrally as I imagine Silva likes his central players to press and work and Dowell doesn't fit into that category. I know the loan shouts get bandied around all the time but he really does need to be playing football every week now under a manager who needs some craft and guile to bulld a team around.

As much as we’d like to keep him, it’s be far better for him to move away, probably permanently.

Never a Premier League footballer in a million years.

Too lightweight and slow.

Like Ozil?

Maybe not the best example that, actually.

Sure, but we're talking about 20-30 minutes at the end of a match where we're on the front foot. You could easily sub him for Davies or Sigurdsson in that scenario without destroying our balance.

We've been open with midfielders who work hard for years now. Our inability to control the ball is the real issue. Dowell won't solve that problem today but he could be a part of the solution moving forward if we give him match time to develop.

At some point, he's going to have to, and I think there's a fair chance he makes us look very stupid if he does move.

Imagine if dowell, Lookman and vlasic all go on to achieve their potential elsewhere 😵

Don't think Dowell will make it here now, don't think he's impressed enough in the 2 games he's played

Will be loaned out in Jan, and probably sold on in the summer
