Everton legend and most successful captain in the club's history, Kevin Ratcliffe, says that Kurt Zouma can emulate Sylvain Distin and become a great asset to the club.

He doesn't really remind me of him at all. Zouma looks more mobile and better on the ball. Really hope we can do a deal to sign him permanently.

He was good in 13/14 to be fair.

Fell off a cliff big time the start of 14/15 though.

Was great for us overall but why oh why did he do that back pass in the semi final :(

Didnít end well but he was an absolute colossus for us. Arguably allowed Jags to be the cb he became.

Also the only defender Iíve ever seen Shepard a slow rolling ball out for a goalkick with a centre forward clambering on his back for about 30 yards.
