Yobo was a breath of fresh air.

It was so exciting to get a young international player in who had just had a good World Cup.

Even more exciting that he had pace, because we could finally play a higher line for the first time since the 80’s!
“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”

Just don't rent his brother a flat, and make sure someone ties his laces properly for him.

Big fan of Joey Yobo, but I think Zouma's a better player (at his best).

Loved yobo, think is (when on form) better and has the potential to be very very good
Simply simply lovely

They're called facts though mate. He is and was, period.

I agree with you 100% but the same phrase over and over is annoying in any context. How about these alternatives once in while:

Everton's most successful captain
The Everton captain to have lifted the most trophies
Wales and Everton captain
The captain of Everton's most successful European side
The captain who lifted the trophy for Everton in Rotterdam
Tough-tackling centreback who captained Everton to four trophies
Back to back league winner, FA Cup winner and European Cup Winners Cup winner........ ok that is a bit of a mouthful!

I'd just like to see more thought and variety put into it. Maybe it's not important to anyone else.

And I'd put Mountfield in instead of Weir.

Decent on the deck but fucking immense in the air! His and Lescott's goals push Weir out of the top 5 for me.

If yobo was playing in today’s game he’ll be a much better centre half.

He’ll only get crucified by the arl fellas who can’t be doing with this tippy tappy nonsense.
Well if I am an arl fella then you are so wrong .this tippy tappy nonsense was what the Ball Harvey Kendall era was all about .But what the heck let's not let facts get in the way of a chance to have dig at an arl fella .

You posted as if you thought nobody had been given chance to comment on Yobo on here contemporaneously and it was pointed out that you were wrong to think that
