Dowell playing for the U23s today.

Doesn't look like things are going to work out for him.

..........got to admire your optimism mate .We haven't won there since 1996 and our luck has to change sometime. I'm banking on Richarlison to have a blinder ,think we'll score a couple but it's the defence that worries me.

Incorrect mate - we haven't won there since 2006 ;)

Hope we get our head's screwed back on today and get something going for us.

Think we can get some sort of result, as long as we don't concede a silly first goal in the first 20 minutes.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Think well need Gana here, but he needs to sit a little deeper and protect the back four. Id most like to see Davies in for Morgan, purely for his energy. Hell help out more at the back but can also bring it forward.
Its up front where Im at a loss though.
Tosun? Richarlison? DCL?
Richarlison plays 100%, just a case of where? Sig should also play but then I also want to see Bernard. Especially against these, where we may be playing on the break.
Its not easy but Id probably push Richarlison up and pop Bernard on the left.
All in all, we need 3 at the back to make the best of our midfield and attacking options, but after recent weeks going three at the back against Arsenal would be suicide.

Ah, ok, just repeat to yourself "we've never won at The Emirates, but it was only opened in 2006..." see if that works?! ;)

Hopefully we can put that to bed today.

Made up with that team.

Silva addressing what needs to be addressed.

Very happy.
