Wouldn't mind us getting a player towards the end of his career to play up top. Not much resale value, if any, but a shitload of experience to work with the talented players we have who need a player with knowhow to play off. I don't follow much football outside of us so haven't got any names in mind but I'm sure our FM posters can reel some off.

Aye maybe, hope so anyway.

For £18m he'd be a solid investment but I'm not married to the idea like. I've only watched him once as well so he might be a shite player I really dunno.

I think there's something in the Jean Kevin Augustin / Lookman deal.
If we let Lookman go in such a deal, w will be desperate to buy a wide player this window then as well in my opinion.

Few saying defoe for 6 months, if he's not getting games for Bournemouth though? He must really be finished

I’m very sceptical DCL would have much of a goal scoring record in the championship. At 18m Abraham is worth a punt and we’d get most of it back from a championship club if he failed anyway

Having both would hamper their developments as we'd not be able to give both the game time they needed to develop.  It's better to have one who you can give that game time reserved for developing a talent to

Augustin can play RW too apparently.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Yes like Chelsea did with Vialli.

Marca claim we've submitted an enquiry with Barca to take Malcolm off their hands.

Another 6 of their players to go before we try for Messi.

I’d also like to think the phrase ‘worth a punt’ never gets mentioned in the scouting room.

Probably not. I’m not a scout though and this isn’t the scouting room

Someone a bit self sufficient upfront who is going to run the two Cbs into the floor would be great...but without a change to how we transition when we get the ball, it won't matter.

I think we are one of the worst in the league at punishing teams when we win the ball back or stop their attack.

I think Lewandowski is a free agent from Bayern. Maybe in the summer, I'm not sure. But gettable. I'm a bit reluctant to post this, after the stab at getting Eto into our world class scoring order.

I was thinking this when I saw Troy Deeney then I remembered Ashley Williams being shite....
