Some Belgium paper has reported Chelsea have offered him to us to buy, and are hoping West Ham and others also bid to push up the sale price. They don't seem keen on another loan
Can see that being the case, they'll want rid

According to Rome-based newspaper ‘Il Messaggero’, Everton apparently want to snap up Roma striker Edin Dzeko, possibly during this month's transfer window.

He'd be a boss signing. Shame he's not 5 years younger like, but wouldn't be mad at a player of his calibre coming in.

I would, be a good striker for 18months, doesn't really fit brands philosophy, so not really convinced theres anything in this like

Tbh I would pay 20 million to be rid of Schneiderlin and his £120k a week lolol ...

We're never getting 20 for him even in an inflated market ...nobody is as gulible as we were .

yes but we could get near £20 for Schneiderlin

I don't see the point in a player coming to the end of his days , if it was at the start of the season that would be ok but we cant get top 6 7th is the best we can get , need to be thinking about players that will be here playing for us for 5 years

all comes down to his pay off

say we got 20 and he got 4 as a pay of and not the 1 that 5% would get him , he then gets to play again at a new club he could get motm every week for us and still not liked

west ham will come in for him

"Everton achieve 7th place glory by fizzing long balls at 33 year old striker"

"Team still has no sustainable way of creating chances but who cares? 7th!"

He's only 32, but his record isn't great this year, 2 in 15, maybe an indication that he's seriously on the wane?
I'd rather go with what we have tbh, we won't go down and is the Europa league that big a draw anyway? Finish 7,8,9,10 I don't think it'll change our targets or ability to attract the right player in the summer, most of them will be swayed by wages and ambition. Enough of the short term fixes

Split on it because my head says don’t sign old fucking players obviously, but my heart says my weekends would be vastly improved watching Everton with a serviceable striker, and Dzeko is an old timey fave of mine from his wolfsburg days.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.
