I wouldn't know what direction we should go in, football wise. We've got some really decent players, but it's not gelling. We're back to the shapeless rabble of Koeman, with the boring natural inability to score of an Allardyce team, minus the quality in defence. ???
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Presumably how shit we 've been recently? Perhaps you hadn't noticed ?

We're on a bad run yes, it's a transitional season. Not sure what people were expecting to happen with a new manager and DoF in half a season? We've been competitive against the top teams, more so than usual, and we've had some shit games against what people would call lesser teams. Its a work in progress, there's bound to be some ups and downs, too much short termism, wanting everything to be fantastic instantly

Gana was good, the rest can fuck off in the bin

Gana & Kenny.

Cant believe we keep percievering with Walcott, why not drop him and play Richarlison or Bernard there? play 2 up top.

lol at the DCL hate tho.

Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017
West Ham 4-0 29th Nov 2017

Positives:

It was a far better performance than against Brighton.

Zouma was excellent.

Kenny was both solid and exciting, especially his hardcore challenges.

Richarlison looks miles better on the wing, obviously.

It was good to see Bernard tried in the 10 towards the end with Sigurdsson deeper.

Hopefully these recent results and performances will show Moshiri and Brands what we need to acquire, and show Silva what we should and shouldn’t be doing on the pitch.

Showed today a prime example and one of the only bits of skill on show I can remember. Bernard totally skinned the fullback and put a perfect cross along the six yard box, not one Everton player was anywhere near it or made an attempt to get to it.  All the players look tired and beat, time for Silva to step up now with the player he's got or to buy in the striker, goal poacher we've lacked since Lukaku.
Should be also having a serious look at our right hand side as well, Walcott has been terrible all season and yet still gets picked.

Yeah, I thought Bernard’s brain and sense of composure shone through when he got on the ball

Thought kenny had a good game.

Bernard created the best chance of the game, but we don't have a striker with a killer instinct so nothing came of it.

Outside of that the game followed the same pattern as most of our losses at home this season:

1. Control possesion without creating genuine high quality opportunities for first 25 mins. Some decent football at times but the final ball is poor or chances are missed.

2. Opposition have had time to settle in, and start to come into the game. We start trying to force it as we've not scored yet, and start making mistakes and giving the ball away.

3.Crowd starts to get frustrated, players seem to react poorly and try to force it even more. No leadership means some people shrink back, some start working harder but in isolation and gaps start to open up.

4. We concede an avoidable goal.

5. We have no plan b, throw on lots of attackers and play more direct but in a half hearted way and only when the option to rotate the ball between the two CBs and one of the two centre mids isnt on.

6. We fail to take any chances created as again, no confidence and a lack of real goal threat cause the game to end with us rolling over.

7. I contemplate why I put myself through it.

Have we. Lost to spurs Utd city arsenal and Liverpool and drew with Chelsea. Is that better than allardyce did? Seems like it might be worse

Bernard's pass across the box underlined our issues in attack. That was on a plate and the only one perhaps who may have attacked that ball would've been Richarlison if central and maybe Niasse?

Actually the cameras showed Naismith in the crowd today, he'd have been on the end of that too.

Yes we tried to play and win, and therefore give ourselves a chance of progressing higher up the league

If you're content with never being better than 7th and never even trying to better that, then we can go back to someone who pretty much sacrifices games against the top 6
