Canít see it happening but 40m sounds a lot more realistic than 14m.

What do you get for 14m these days? Certainly not someone with his record and residual hype.

Not to say heís worth it because he almost certainly ainít, but 14m was pie in the sky I suppose.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Silva didnít dismiss the link when asked in his press conference - just said he doesnít talk about other players. Think this is happening myself

£40m is nuts. No fucking way we should make that deal, even if we free up the funds.

Somewhere out there, there's a genuinely good midfielder who can be bought for less than £40m. Go find that guy instead and make due with Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, and maybe even Sigurdsson (if Silva is willing to experiment) up top for the rest of the season.

I still say we'll score plenty with some control in midfield.

If we can get him for less than 25 I would say do it. If not, then I wouldn't do it
Are we there yet?

I reckon itís £40m combined for Batshuayi and Zouma  :-*

I read that as £40M for Battydudu and Zouma combined.

Would value Zouma at around £24-25M which is about right.

Batshuayi is not the right guy for us at all.

I don't think he's got particularly good close control, he isn't much of a physical presence and generally doesn't make things happen on his own.

Thatís why low fee would be worth a gamble.

He wouldnít revolutionise our build up play as you say.
