The wage bill gets a little cleaner in June and much cleaner the following June.
Also, with the way player amortisation works, players become "easier" to sell later on in their contracts because, even if we accept well below what we paid, we're realizing a much smaller loss. (I think. I don't understand club finances that well.)
If that's anywhere close to accurate, it means that we'll probably be able to sell players like Bolasie, Schneiderlin, Tosun, Walcott, and even Sigurdsson once they get to the last year or two of their contract. I have a hunch that we could sell Walcott and possibly even Schneiderlin now and do alright on the accounting side.
