Everton signed 6 foot 2 inch Joao Silva from Portuguese second division side Derportivo Das Aves in June 2010.

The starlet had scored 13 goals in 30 games for his previous club helping them to a comfortable mid-table finish in only his first season as a professional footballer.

David Moyes is believed to have been tracking the young striker for some time, and although he is unproven in English football, it is believed he will make a big impact on the Premier League.
