| | | | No Gera medical? | | |         |  Rumours that Zoltan Gera is about to have a medical at Goodison Park could be wide of the mark, according to various reports, from as far apart as Birmingham and Portugal!
Gera will be available on a free transfer if he lets his contract run out this summer, but apparently he has had offers from, amongst others, Benfica, Newcastle United, and Portsmouth.
"I am aware of Benfica's offer. My agent told me about it and I can only be glad, but they are a great club, used to Champions League play, with great players, a very friendly country, I can only say good things," he told Maisfutebol about the possible Benfica interest.
"I have other offers and I will wait for the best deal. I do not close the door on anyone. I will study all the offers and then I will choose the most interesting one for my future. I have offers from other big clubs, [in] England mostly." ...discuss this in our forum...
