Young keeper Iain Turner has received praise from team mate Mikkel Arteta after the young Scot's performance against Chelsea. Turner was a last minute starter in the Cup defeat after Richard Wright sustained an injury during the warm up. Arteta said of Turner:
"Iain did really well and he did everything he had to do. We need to say well done to him because it was a difficult place to go to and he dealt with it with a lot of character."
As for the game itself, Arteta was obviously disappointed with the result, but the young midfielder wants his team mates to continue the good form they have shown in recent weeks in the league. Arteta said:
"It was a difficult game. They haven't lost here for two years but when you concede a penalty and a free kick like we did, it's even more difficult. We shouldn't have done that.
"We can accept it when they make a great play like they did for the first goal but they scored early and made it hard for us. They controlled the game and made us go forward and when they counter-attacked, they were really dangerous.
"We can't afford now to lose confidence. We just need to keep having a good run." Discuss this on our forums
