Playing the Echo Arean later this month as part of the Summer Pops festival of music, the star doesn't pull any punches when talking about his favourite things, and he's lookng forward to getting back to a place that holds many fond memories.
His favourite memory of Liverpool is, “Michael Thomas. Anfield. 1989. And Liverpool bands – it's difficult to know where to start.”
When asked by a reporter what the best thing in Liverpool is, he answered "Everton."
