Leon Osman believes that Everton have every right to be confident going into tomorrow's Merseyside derby, but knows that the game won't be a walk in the park.
he said, "People weren't expecting us to get a result at Chelsea and it was the same at Arsenal and we should have won.
"We want to go one better now and try and turn those draws into a victory.
"There'll be times when we'll get opportunities in the game and we've got to make sure we take them and keep it tight at the back as well.
"We've shown this season we can go to places and get results.
"People are coming out and saying they are in a poor run of form, which is wrong to be honest," said the 28-year-old. "I think they have won five out of the last six games.
"If that's poor form, I'd be happy if we played terrible here and and got those results. So I think that's just smoke.
"It's a good run of form they're in and they'll be going into this one as confident as we are.
"The old cliché is that form goes out the window, but it's always good to go into it when you're feeling confident and you're really looking forward to the game.
"The confidence is going through the team at the minute and you can see that out on the pitch. .
"Hopefully it will be one that goes in our favour." Discuss this on our forums
