David Moyes is confident there is very little between Everton and Liverpool on the pitch at the moment, and feels that his side did the job of retaining possession against Liverpool's ten men well.
"I thought we passed the ball quite well. We got Mikel on the ball a lot and he was prodding away and trying to find a way through. I don’t think we let our standards drop at all after they went down to 10 men," said the boss.
"We probably needed a bit more width. That was the only thing we lacked today. But we didn’t deserve to lose, all we fell down on was a bit of creativity at the top end. But I still maintain there is very little between the two teams nowadays." Discuss this on our forums
