Re: Chelsea v Everton

We seem to actually play better against teams we don't expect to beat for some reason. Hoping tonight is one of those but where we actually take a chance or two. This feels like one of those games where we either get a shock 2-0 win, or play well, miss tonnes of chances and lose by the same score. A...

Damn, would be rotten luck if he's out after two goals in two games and looking pretty hungry against Burnley

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

Tuchel's said the ref told the Bayern players it's was an error a kid would make and he wasn't willing to give a penalty in a quarter final for something so silly... Which is interesting. Even my under 9s team know not to do that, but I'd understand if the ref let it go because they're kids... A pla...

Re: Beto

Didn’t get given as his touch was absolutely horrific and he’d booted it away from himself and the goal and he was never getting there before the keeper Just awful Nah I majorly disagree tbh, I do think he should have taken it on his left instead of cutting back across the defender, but it's still ...

Re: Dyche

According to our xG this season, we should have scored TWENTY more goals. No other club is even in double figures for negative xG let alone near 20. Is this down to management, terrible finishing from the players or shear bad luck? Or a mixture of all 3? We have been the nearly men for many games t...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

I need to see the Saka dive! I watched the last 15 of the match so so it... Looked in real time a penalty all day long, but one looks on replay showed the classic stick your leg out and kick the keeper to win a penalty trick. Keeper may well have caught him had he not done it, or he had the chance ...

Re: Dyche

football is awful and he is quite unlikable but he would have us on 35 points if it wasn't for the ineptitude above him and that's with a worse squad that the inept Lampard and Benitez had. I'm sure he would argue he would have us on more points if he had a squad to rotate in key areas, too. I don'...

Re: Beto

Beto was a 1 in 3 striker in Italy so I think it's fair to say he's a better player than Niasse.

Whether he's a better player for us is another argument, with both been hugely inadequate.

Re: Dyche

I think we all want to see us pressing like earlier in the season, but the players don't have it left in the tank to do it. Doucoure was practically stumbling when trying to run after about 60 mins against Burnley. I know it's Ramadan but he has looked knackered ever since coming back from injury. I...

Re: Andre Gomes

It isn’t 35 million down like football manager I’d say barely 5 down plus rest over a period of time we can still structure deals where not much is down at the start like Beto and chermiti but hopefully better I get that but I still don't think we'll be buying anyone for anywhere near £35m... All t...

Re: Dyche

True but saying we set up to win ugly is one thing. Saying we set up to win by an absolute howler of a fluke by their goalkeeper instead of creating a goal ourselves… is another. Unless people think he is genuinely claiming that was his plan? At some point, and this is going to be hard for some to ...

Re: Andre Gomes

Onana would never have come here if dyche had been manager it was the one good thing frank had his name and record in the league helped us get him but we deffo won’t be seeing anymore like this under dyche Plus we won't be able to spend £35m on a young player, or any player for that matter so Dyche...

Re: Relegation

Hopefully now we know what's happening it takes some of the weight off the players, it's obviously adding pressure because we now have less points, but it gives clarity and an understanding that it's in our hands now...that could be massive for mentality
