Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
On a personal level, I feel so sorry for him. He is still so young and to have another big setback is a hammer blow for him. This one will test him much more than his first setback in terms of the mental side of it. It will create doubt and he will feel like the world is against him, but he has to ...

Re: Everton v Liverpool
@weimaranerblues Hi, do you go the games? How do you have the score so immediately? Also, tiny request. Please can you wait a few mins before posting that there has been a goal? It makes being in the matchday thread really rubbish because (during aways for me) when im watching on TV, and want to ch...

Re: Thierno Barry
I'm not saying that Beto is capable of maintaining his current goalscoring run, but I think the way you're talking like he's going to repeat his rubbish season and then just come good again every February like that's how he's programmed is a bit daft. There's a myriad of factors as to why he didn't...

Re: Beto
Id rather we loan barry out than have him as backup. Financially it might even be wiser to loan him and hope we find a league where he does enough to get us decent money. Just making the budget for a proper striker considerably smaller by doing that though. I just want a reliable goal threat who ca...

Re: Beto
We cant keep barry as our second striker cos hes so bad no one wants him. What happens if our 1 good striker gets injured or for the 20 minutes at the end of most games when we sub barry on You can though if we can sell Beto for £15m - £20m and only loan Barry out. I'd rather a really good first ch...

Re: Thierno Barry
I quite like beto. Though it is on condition we get more of this and the back end of last season and yes of what came in between You can't have one without the other with Beto though, everyone seems to forget just how bad he is for months on end the moment he hits his purple patch for the season. I...

Re: Beto
If it’s a toss up between Beto or Barry (both hopefully as back up), I’d keep Beto all day long. At least he looks like scoring (sometimes) and generally makes more of a nuisance of himself when he is on the pitch. Who's buying Barry though? We'd have to loan him out which would reduce our spending...

Re: Thierno Barry
I think people are being really generous suggesting his current form is much different from what hes produced consistently most of the season. Hes been largely awful. The only difference is a couple of good touches earlier in the season and people would be spinning it as a sign of great potential. ...

Re: Thierno Barry
His head has clearly gone, maybe it's the fans thing, maybe it's being benched for Beto, who knows? The premier league is a really physical league though and he's struggled with that throughout his time here so far. Apart from winning headers which he's good at, he's lost about 90% of every physical...

Re: Beto
I’d extend him by a couple of years. Barry is unplayed and looks finished at the club. Extend Beto to take the pressure off whoever we bring in this summer. I definitely wouldn't tbh. We need to sell while we can get something for him... Right now we'd probably be able to bring in £15m - £20m due t...

Re: David Moyes
Moyes won’t do that and gamble, especially when there is still quite a bit to play for and the difference between 10th and 6th is one point. Yeah exactly, that would only potentially happen if we were out of the running for a European spot. Unless that happens he'll rightly play the experienced pla...

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Nah Tarks has another year in him, think he's struggled at times this season as he missed pre-season... With a good one behind him he'll be fine.
Ask yourself this question - would you rather a new CB over a new RB, LB or Striker?
If not then it's not a priority.
