Article in The Guardian which is pretty depressing, basically you reap what you sow. The hypocrisy on all sides (clubs, league, government) is jaw-dropping though.

Re: Dyche
He's one of the great snides of all time and, when playing for us, that alone can be wonderfully entertaining. He had a bad time here often forced to play as a loan striker which he so clearly isn't. On top of that, he had one of those runs where he either fucked up a tap-in or met a keeper having h...

Re: Are You Worried for Next Season
Not bothered at all, might be different come October/November but really not worried right now. Even the transfer window doesn’t induce the least anxiety.
Everton had numbed me and I’m happy for it!

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
One thing I don't get is why Middle Eastern owners are necessarily worse than US consortiums and hedge funds owning clubs in the eyes of fans? It was overwhelmingly US owners who came together to form the Super League, and tried to end the football pyramid and the concept of competition, and you ab...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Whether happy for United, sorry for City or just plain couldn’t care less (my personal favourite) rejoice in the news that kicks the Saudi B team out of Europe. A step beyond silver linings!

Re: 2023/24 Prediction League - Final Standings
Congratulations to the winners and a big thanks to @Shogun and @Lincs Toffee. Every time I look at that table I get a sick feeling in my stomach that relegation actually happened . Looking forward to working hard over the summer and coming back Dyche-fit for another tilt at glory.

Re: Dyche
So we finished 12th, behind Brighton and ahead of Bournemouth on goal difference, in the non-Masters regulated Premier League. How many would have taken that at the start of the season? Does that mean we are happy with the Indie video star? My review of the season is I’m a little under-whelmed as I ...

Re: Thelwell talking strategy
Gana is brilliant news, am I right that’s him and Douc here next season? I know Douc had a difficult second half to the season but I feel (I.e. irrationally hope) he’ll be back firing come August.

Win
1-2
DCL
And that completes a third unbeaten season in a row for the Toffees, and still I wonder what I'm doing wrong...

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Football is a strange industry. Not sure what was expected given the teams that came down last season. Has he done that badly or has Ipswich's success changed expectations?
