It does give pause for thought about things like Peter Odemwinge turning up at QPR in his car at transfer day - he's long been mocked for it, but the following months at West Brom were clearly very awkward for him.

Saw a bit of the Jon Obi Mikel piece on Sky Sports today, and it had a bit with Peter Kenyon talking about how important the investment in the youth setup was to changing Chelsea, what 20 years ago. That's got to be one of the priorities for us - we need the academy identifying and producing talent ...

I do feel for Dwight a little, given it's clear he's not needed at Everton. There are still transfer windows open in some of the other European leagues - you never know...
