Re: 25-26 Relegation Thread
Brutal one for Spurs there. The hope of Burnley winning at half time only for MGW to score a hat trick?
Forest have MGW, West Ham have Bowen, who do Spurs have?

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Yeah Arsenal should win 4 of them, West Ham away could be tough for them. Man City just seem like they've locked in now. They'll certainly beat us. Brentford is at home. Villa is at home (although still difficult). Bournemouth A maybe a tough one. I just don't know if Arsenal have it in them to win ...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
So City win the game in hand and it's just goal difference between them which Arsenal currently lead by a goal. Pfft.

Re: The race for... Europe?
So at this point, we'd theoretically want Liverpool to overtake Villa and for Villa to win the EL and finish 5th? As that would mean CL goes to 6th? Exactly, they go to Villa as well in a few weeks. Just means the league 'loses' 1 of the 2 Europa League places instead. Obviously we would actually n...

Re: The race for... Europe?
Will it? It didn't sound right but listening to that football ramble podcast the other day they'd said Villa would have to finish out of top 5 for it to be 6th becoming a CL place? I had been assuming 6th was a CL place until then. Still, we'd probably have to go on some run to do that. Including m...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Arsenal had a couple of chances there where they were unlucky. Missed the first half. If Man City do get the win here then I don't see Arsenal winning the league at all.
The issue for Arsenal in the attitude today, it's the attitude they've had for weeks of being far too cautious.

Re: The race for... Europe?
If Villa finish 5th and win the Europa League then 6th will be champions league. Not that inconceivable at the minute.

Genuinely don't think there's any coming back from that sub performance after the ways things have gone for him recently. Couldn't be less arsed and I hope Moyes benches him against Palace even in Beto's absence.

Re: Everton v Liverpool
Thought the first half an hour went perfectly. The two minutes where we had a goal VAR'd off and they scored killed us. Completely flattened the game. They saw out the first half with ease. I don't think the crowd really got the atmosphere back up from there. People were going mental when Ndiaye sco...
