Re: David Moyes
I'm in no hurry to replace tbh. He probably does have a ceiling but we are miles away from having a squad that outstrips him. Put another £100m in and see what he can do, hopefully have a DOF type figure who has an eye on the immediate and long term future, then move on as a stable European club wit...

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Surprised some don't see we're a better team when he starts than when he doesn't tbh. @davidmoyes Honestly I actually like him, and he definitely does add a bit of oomf with his running and pressing. He's young and fit and he's not slow, he's keen to get up and support attacks and it's good to have...

Re: January Transfer Window
Or more likely we waste money, revert to the mean and finish ~where we should 14-12th, but leave ourselves in a worse position for the summer.
Statistically jan signings have little to do with final points tally's according to el pivote on toffee TV last year anyway.

We're surely currently exceeding expectations?777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 7:10 pm We are going nowhere with beto and Barry as our options. Im not convinced they arent the worst selection out of the entire league. I cant think of worse.

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Surely Barry has been more pivotal than Alcaraz?
Has he done anything in particular other than look busy and hustle? I like it will enough but in not sure if he's been pivotal like.

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Let's just forget the raking cross field pass to Grealish in the same match that set up his chance eh? I get you're just trying to throw shit and hope something sticks to the wall with your OTT criticism of players but it's getting really tedious. Pfft everyone turning on old brapster is it? After ...

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
I don't think he's much of a danger in our own half tbh, it's just purely when he comes on as sub it takes him a while to get up to speed with the game so he makes some bad decisions. When he starts he plays better and more importantly the team plays much better. Doubt Moyes will ever see this thou...

Re: January Transfer Window
The league is so poor that I wouldn't count out a European challenge at this point. We were 5th last week and that's with most people saying we have some glaring issues in the squad. I know but freak results really rather than being any good. We're like 4th worst in xg against, can't really carry o...

Re: January Transfer Window
Yeah was listening to toffee TV and they were saying he better have targets ready to go on Jan 1st and I just sort of thought...why? What's the point really, push the boat out and get 9th or something? That said I do think Moyes is keen to 'not miss the opportunity' as he put it in his post match, a...

Re: Merlin Röhl
Reckon I'd buy or loan one of the many DMs I had on my extensive list rather than buy a random fella I think might be able to be a DM if I manage to groom him and train him and coach him into one with all the time and resource I have mid season. Probably just got him because he was available on term...

Pickford JOB I Suppose Tark Keane Myko I Suppose Garner Tim Alcaraz Dibbers Barry Grealish/McNeil if No 433, or probably Alcaraz in the 10 tbh. Try and keep it tight and get something jammy. KDH a big miss I must admit. Full backs difficult to watch. Would be nice to say rest garner rest Grealish et...
