Re: Everton v Leeds

Love Tuesday morning games, but well aware I'm in the tiny minority.

"Normal" Saturday arvo' games at this time of year are absolutely horrendous, 2-4am, but night games are as good as it gets.

Re: Everton v Leeds

I'd have Gana straight back in and have him work a half (or 60/30) with Armstrong and Röhl. Think the experience of the kids playing with him would be brilliant for them over the short term.

Re: Adam Aznou

Hope we appropriately manage him and the other youngsters' careers. We could have the basis for a very good team 5 years from now, especially if we keep building with exciting youngsters (our new backroom staff are supposed to be good with this). Just need a Thibaut Courtois 18yo regen for when Jord...

Copied the article from Apple news… “Everton spied potential in Merlin Rohl. Their patience may now be paying off Jan. 21, 2026 7:00 am EST Merlin Rohl has one final thing to say after wrapping up media duties on Sunday at Villa Park. “Sound interview,” he adds with a smile as he walks off to rejoi...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

The disrespect that City feel they needed to pay for fans tickets for the loss. The "we should have won" mentality. Arrogance.

We'll buy the league and cups and if that doesnt work we'll pay you, the fans, off.

It's what sport is.

Re: Everton Academy, U21s etc...

We're so big man oriented in our setup. We're not playing a two up top except when desperate. Do we think he'll get a run soon? Looks dammed good though. Top finishes.

Re: James Garner

Maybe he is going up a level though and three years under Lampard and dyche got the worst out of him. I think that's the point a lot have been missing on him and others. Moyes has played a part in improving a number of our players already after 12 months (even the long game with O'Brien - despite b...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

No the post match interview. He went really silent at the end and just stopped talking, was quite awkward and odd. Will check it out. He didnt answer the last question in the tunnel interview I saw either, just blanked the interviewer but the question was both stupid and not answerable. I wonder if...

Ok so a missed panenka. A team left the field. Dodgy decisions?

I cant watch this game here, keen for some detail. :D. Very happy for Gana and Iliman.
