Moyes tends to find these types of players. I think if he had still been managing us at the time, we would've likely tried to buy Bowen.

KDH feels like that sort of engine of a player.

Re: Carlos Alcaraz

He feels a bit erratic at times with how he runs around. I can see why maybe Gueye and him in the middle could be a bit chaotic, so maybe in part that's why Moyes has been hesitant to play him.

Thought he added a little extra spice though to the midfield though yesterday.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

Bowen scoring with a slide tackle. I'm not convinced Dyche keeps Forest up. I was surprised how poor Forest were yesterday, but they have had some decent results of late and were the form team in the bottom half of the table the last 6 games with 3 wins and a draw. I don't know what to make of the ...

Re: Thierno Barry

"It's huge for him, and it was coming - it was certainly due," Moyes told BBC Match of the Day. "He's got to score, when you're playing centre-forward, otherwise we will find someone to replace him." ---------------------- Maybe that is context of a bigger point he was making, bu...

Re: James Garner

Played well today, did pretty well on corners with KDH and some nice passes between the lines.

He should get a new deal, I imagine it's being worked on.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

Is weird looking at the table how Liverpool are still like 2 pts off Europe, despite losing (what feels like) so many games.

Table is so close though that a point or two swings you from bottom half to top.

Re: Thierno Barry

Tidy finish, what you want from a striker in that sort of moment.

Just really happy for him, changes the narrative enough to allow him to hopefully relax a little and kick on.

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest

Couldn't have gone much better really, win 3-0 and Barry got his goal.

Thought we were worth it, but also a little like the Brighton game we rode our luck at times. The early goal probably helped a lot as it meant they couldn't sit back. They did look pretty toothless though.

That’s awesome so happy for Barry. What a relief that must be for him.

Great work from Ndiaye in the build up.
