Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
I'd take him as a squad player over Toney, but it depends how many strikers Southgate wants in the squad. For me, Kane, Watkins and Solanke are all better players and in better form. So if there's a place for a fourth striker, I'd take Dom. He'd be useful if they're chasing a goal and throwing it in...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
The Bobble Hat does qualify as official I'm afraid, as mad as it is.

Re: James Garner
I could see Barkley in our midfield even with Dyche as manager, but only in a deeper position against the teams that want us to try and break them down. Otherwise he'd fit into Doucoure's position.

Re: Dyche
He’s doing well overall. Not too far off what I would have expected when we hired him. Often a bit dull, effective when it works, hard to watch when it doesn’t. Much like Moyes when he didn’t have his best footballers at his disposal. The next evolution is for Thelwell and the recruitment team to f...

Re: Dyche
Dyche has done much better than the last two managers (not that they should be something to measure against) with a worse squad, but the bottom three this season are pretty much as poor as it gets in the Premier League as well. Big one is next season for Dyche. Hopefully no points deductions, bette...

Re: Ben Godfrey
He's not a right back and he's not a prem level CB. He can do a job when the environment is right to cover for his weaknesses, but one we should move on if we can get some money. Probably best suited in a back three, like a Wish Kyle Walker. Pace to cover but not expected to attack, and two other CB...

Brilliant player. But.. we have to be sensible with wages after 2 consecutive breaches. Wouldn't blame the club for not renewing. Wouldn't blame Gana for not accepting a major drop.

His ball for the pen that VAR overuled was brilliant. Yeah he had a really good game and that's the player I remember from when we played Leeds.

Re: Ashley "not so" Young
Easy to forget he was a top level player in his day. He's just too old now and nolonger Prem level. Not his fault that he's been given a contract and keeps getting picked.

Re: Dyche
Communication by messages and phone calls when he can be arsed from the boss is God awful leadership. What an utter clown of an owner.

Same. The San Miguel will make an Emirates bumming more palatable. We need to be safe after the Shef Utd game.Admin wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 4:48 pm Just booked a mini break and will be in Ibiza on May 19th

Re: Dyche
Some good arguments on both sides in here, it's an enjoyable debate. Regarding the team, I don't think we look like a group that are fighting together, with a great spirit, like Luton and Forrest. This worries me more than anything. If they're more up for the fight than we are then we're gone. Major...
