Vaughan the loan star

James Vaughan is apparently set to go out on loan this week, to either Derby or Coventry.

The 21 year old has been in sparkling form of late, but it seems that isn't enough to claim a place on Everton's bench.

Vaughan has been plagued by injury during his career, with the latest coming during a loan spell at Derby.

Doherty joins Marine

One-time Everton starlet Sean Doherty has now signed on for Unibiond Premier side Marine AFC.

Doherty moved to Fulham whilst still an academy player, in what was seen as a controversial move at the time, but failed to fulfil his potential.

After leaving Fulham he spent time with ADO Den Haag, Port Vale, Accrington Stanley, Belgian club Royal Antwerp, Sligo Rovers and Witton Albion.
