24. Tim Howard
Date of Birth: March 6, 1979
Clubs: North Jersey Imperials, New York Red Bulls, Manchester United, Everton
Position: Goalkeeper
Nationality: American
Finest Everton moment: Two penalty saves (Berbatov, Ferdinand) against former club Manchester United at Wembley in 2009 FA Cup Semi-Final shoot-out.
Signing from Manchester United in the summer of 2006 on an initial loan, Tim Howard quickly established himself as Everton’s number one goalkeeper. Howard joined the Red Devils from MLS
outfit the New York Red Bulls (then called MetroStars) but things didn’t go according to plan for the American at Old Trafford. His quick reactions and abilities in both one-on-ones and penalty shoot-outs have cemented his place as one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
