if dyche was managing manu i doubt he would get more points than amorin this season
he could not cope with playing in the europa and the prem at the same time
with manu normally its coping with prem and european games aswell not just the prem sean
different tyoe of manager pressure at manu

Wonder if Sean Dyche would beat Porto and Benfica to the title with Sporting?

Has to turn it off at around 40 minutes.

The man comes across terribly. He complains about the image he has in the media yet plays up to it every time he speaks.

Hard to see him having much future in the game if what he says in this interview is how he really feels about the game.

Loved how much he went on about winning being the most important thing at a club and not the philosophy. The irony of that.

I think he has a ceiling as a manager without a doubt and whoever did his media training with him wants shooting. He had certainly reached the end of the line here when he went but I will always be grateful for the end of that 22/23 season he had because I have absolutely no doubt Lampard was getting us relegated.

I don't think Dyche was the only manager in the world who could have saved or anything like that but I truly don't think Lampard had any idea at all. Either side of that world cup break we were absolutely shambolic and Dyche did improve that.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

I don't have a problem with him, I can't say I like or dislike him really. He'll probably never get the credit from the fans that he deserves for keeping us up against the odds and with the absolute shit show going on in the background but when he keeps telling people that then he doesn't help himself. Always grateful for what he did but it went very stale and he had to go.

To me, the first minute of that sums Dyche up - Keane asked if he wanted a cup of tea and he replied, "No, it hasn't got alcohol in it." It's so embarrassing.

He's absolutely desperate to portray the old-school, throwback image, but he just comes across like David Brent, wanting everyone to like him (even though he'd tell you he doesn't care). "Don't take my word for it, Moyesy gave me a big shout-out." Ugh.

I've said it before, he kept us in the league for 2 seasons in extremely difficult circumstances and I think he deserves our gratitude/respect for that (however much he erodes it every time he speaks). This season was his chance to move forward but he well and truly blew it, and Moyes really exposed his limitations.

There's probably a time for managers like Dyche where they get to the end of their cycle and start looking back with a bit of bitterness that they never got the jobs they feel they deserved.

It's true too, other countries promote home grown talent that's shown something good at a lower club and those managers sometimes go on to achieve good things, sometimes great.

Home grown managers in this country haven't had the opportunities they'd have had if they'd been say German or Italian and achieved the same thing with smaller clubs.

But also no one really cares, so when they start making these statements in a bid to stay relevant and maybe with some anger and disappointment about what could have been they come across as a bit of a tit.

Allardyce went down the exact same route once he got tossed in the bin. Kept going off on one about shoulda woulda coulda and just making things up to suit. Bad knobs the pair of them.

And as for the big shoutout Moyes gave him, it's probably just professional courtesy and politeness.

If ever there was a prime example of how bad the club was run, then this was it.
The last game before the break for the world cup at Bournemouth when we hit rock bottom and were hammered 4-1 the writing was clearly on the wall, Lampard was taking us down.
It was obvious to everybody.
It was a great situation in that we had 4-6 weeks for a new manager to settle in.
With a number of winnable games over the xmas period to start with was a bonus as well.
But as usual with the inept board, they sat on their hands and waited to see what happened.
And what happened was what we all knew would happen, we lost all of them winnable games and were in an even bigger mess.
Had Dyche or any half decent manager taken over after that bournemouth game, then i'm sure we wouldn't have been in the position of having to win our last game to stay up.
I've said it numerous times before, i'm eternally grateful for dyche keeping us up that season, however by the time he left we were back in Lampard territory, he had completely lost his way and he absolutely had to go.

It's definitely just professional courtesy, lol

Personally, he'll no doubt think what pretty much every Evertonian does.....how did you manage to be so bad this season?!
