Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Isn’t it a nice change when a player plays the contract game and it backfires on them. I like Dom, it’s a shame how his career has gone as when he’s on his game, he leads the line brilliantly, but he’s gambled on his fitness and it’s bitten him on his backside. I hope he comes back from his injury nightmare and has a great career somewhere, but I’m not prepared to gamble our finances on him, even if he took a 50% wage drop.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
We wouldn't have seen him for dust if it wasn't for his injuries, that pod swung from needy to desperate to an over exaggerated sense of his own importance flawlessly throughout, about time someone ended this drama.
Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Think we should do a poll as to where we think he’ll end up next.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Leeds. The better the club the lower the wages I think. Leeds might be desperate at 80k a week. A midtable Spanish or Italian team might pay 60. If he wants to go to Newcastle or their like it will be for even less

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
The announcement was a bit odd. We'd offered gueye and Coleman contracts and were liasing with dcl and keanes agents.... what does that mean. Surely they'd be an offer of some sort or they'd be on the released list
Dcl best option if he's faith in his own ability is probably a 1 year contract with us to prove himself. His stock has never been lower

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Most likely expecting Gana and Seamus to be a formality, with Keane/DCL probably having other offers on the table and have yet to decide.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 8:57 am The announcement was a bit odd.
