Why, did he put a bet on himself scoring?

....not another striker. You're the other striker still sat on the bench wondering what the fuck you are even doing there. Your team then goes 2-1 down, then 3-1 and you're still sat there wondering what the fuck you have to do to get some minutes on the pitch.

Yes, I guess I would be pretty pissed off.
How strange!!

I’m sure the millions of pounds of Saudi money will soften the blow.

Speaking to CNN Sports, [Auckland] team captain Mario Ilich described how his side’s “love of the game” was the driving force behind its historic qualification.

“People say that professional players work hard, which they do, but we are trying to compete at the top level of the game while holding down two, and in some cases three, jobs.”

Ilich, who earns his living as a sales representative for Coca-Cola, detailed the hectic routine most of the squad follows on a daily basis.

Without the multi-million-dollar training complexes available to many elite European teams, Auckland City players need to cram in the majority of their gym and recovery work outside of club facilities.

“My normal day begins around 5 a.m. when the alarm goes off. I’m up and off to the gym for an hour before returning to grab breakfast and make it to the office for 8 a.m.

“I try to finish up before 5 p.m. so I can make it across town to training, which gets underway at 6 p.m. We’ll spend about two hours on the grass, and I’ll get home at about 9 p.m. before heading to bed to prepare to do it all again the next day.”

They only have to face Bayern, Benfica and Boca Juniors...for a chance to win $125m USD...

They'll do well to concede less than 20 goals

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged by the Football Association with breaching its anti-doping rules after he failed a drugs test.

The Ukraine international, 24, was provisionally suspended by the FA in December after an "adverse finding in a routine urine test".

At the time he said he was in "complete shock" and he "never knowingly used any banned substances".

He has not played for Chelsea since 28 November.

In a new statement on Wednesday, the FA said: "We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA's Anti-Doping Regulations.

"As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time."

Chelsea have not commented.
