All the subs played their part. Just adding some energy when they were tiring a bit made a huge difference. Everything was far too on the back foot and ponderous first half.

I'm glad Garner bailed out that Beto poor touch that almost lead to a goal as he didn't really deserve that. Unfortunately both of our strikers can give the ball away too much but overall Beto played well today and was unlucky not to score himself but for a great Henderson save. He has looked better a bit fired up from the bench of late, so I don't know how we handle that? False nine to start?

I think Barry needs to really bulk up physically over the coming months. He needs to wear the striker role much more.

He is still young and looks like a boy. Beto at least has that experience and physical presence and can handle CBs. But he just looks better as a sub with something to prove.

However, Beto has the upper hand for me, not because of ability but just on the fact that Barry isn’t quite ready for regular first team football at the moment.

Not really. Many many things I hate but hey it's not black and white and my emotions can fluctuate :)

I love Charly because he is easily the least predictable with the ball, so I know the defenders don't know what's coming either

Second half was such a step up. Alcaraz made a huge difference both putting more pressure on them and driving us forward. Best atmosphere so far, big thanks to the little shit Pino!

Can’t decide if Moyes is lucky or brilliant. Firs half was anaemic, substitutions changed everything.

Re the atmosphere I know it can get quiet but so did Goodison when things were flat. It’s just emphasised more cos there’s more people being quiet.

When it gets loud though it gets really REALLY loud so it’s up to the players to start driving some moments in games for the fans to get behind, and it’s up to the fans to try and lift the players when things aren’t rocking.

There’s some concourse issues that need sorting but other than that I love our new stadium, which is why I was surprised to see your extreme reaction to it and wanted to understand why.

Of course emotion can swing things one way or another on a given day, but try and remember Goodison had all the same issues with atmosphere sometimes.
