Pretty sure it was a Wednesday as I watched in the pub by my old shop after work, Wednesday and Thursday were my late nights, and Monday's were my day off. Could be wrong though.

Edit, you’re correct it was a Monday, Christ knows why I was working that day then.

Got to shake it up now, Garner right-back for JOB, Rohl in the middle, Alacaraz in the 10 for KDH. More energy, workrate and tenacity, away from home on a night game needed.

Just give Barry a 5 game run too,, irrespective of form.

Considering by the time we play Utd , Sky have shown 6 games on Monday and we have featured 4 times is shite ,
Especially the away games .
Utd are on twice again in December.

Moyes said in his presser today that he sees no reason to move big Jake from right back I am a bit worried now tbh if he can’t see how that is holding us back I fear for us

The only alternative to JOB at RB is to move Garner there. Seamus Coleman has been finished for 4+ years, his ability to get minutes for a horrifyingly bad Irish national side means the square root of fuckall.

We need results here and next week, 4 points minimum. The games after that are just plain nasty.

Absolutely nowhere else to put this and not deserving of its own thread, so in the guise of comparing with the team to be put out on Monday… I watched the 95 semi-final against spurs this morning. My how football has changed. 21yo Unsworth bossing the back line. Pitch was terrible. We were in the semi final and had not conceded a single goal in the competition until Sherringham duped the ref for that ludicrous penalty.

My favourite “away” game ever, I remember not being able to get any beer outside the ground and the only place that was open was the Leeds supporters club, by the time we got served all they had left was Babycham!!!! Bar was full of big blokes drinking bloody Babycham 😂

That was one of the best performances ever, we absolutely battered them.
Spurs manager Gerry Francis had the nerve to say the score flattered us, but jimmy greaves said afterwards yes the score was flattering, to Spurs, Everton could have doubled their score.
And yes that penalty, the only goal we conceded in the run was an absolute disgrace.
What a day that was

Was having a frankly abysmal roast one Sunday last year with the fam and the Norf London derby was on, and at half-time a geezer in his 50’s in a Holsten sweatshirt went out for a fag, and he had gone full-Francis with the grey mull of Kintyre.

It was like the football equivalent of a Wellend.
