Just to be clear and to answer Rams concern that anyone was condoning violence, I was not nor do I believe anyone else was , I was simply calling him out for being such a stupid fucking bellend to put his Arsenal supporting mates in the £30 quid away section when he could quite easily have afforded a box or premium seating. Five or six loyal away fans didn’t get tickets tonight because these fucking idiots took their seats, whole issue compounded by his stupid fucking post about it.

It’s a bit grim all round isn’t it.

Can see it all going quickly downhill for Barry here.

Nobody comes out of this well.

Barry’s an idiot for doing what he did
His mates are idiots for doing what they did
The fans who physically attacked them are thugs. End of

Hes been absolutely shite again. Had a little purple patch with some really good finishing and a little contribution from open play but mainly he does zero and doesn't score

Hes lost his place to beto and rightly so. Sick of watching him and sick of hearing from him

Get him sold in the summer. He's causing all sorts of problems, he clearly doesn't get or respect the club and overall he's been fucking crap and that's the bottom line.

I took an Arsenal mate to Goodison once and he sat with me in Upper Bullens. Never been to a game before, wore a navy blue jacket over a white t-shirt, shitting himself the whole time and sat on his hands when they scored. That’s proper behaviour in those circumstances. Got to see the game but was respectful of where he was.

I don’t know the details, obviously, but I suspect if they were filming people leaving, that this was the flash point. We’ve heard that they were celebrating and filming people so it clearly got that far.

Filming people without permission is out of order. Filming and laughing at people who are upset - ten times more so and poor behaviour in any circumstances.

Do I condone it - no.
Do I understand it - yes.

All over the national press this morning and subject to a police investigation all because that bell end decided to post his video on social media, whatever fine we get he should pay double that to EITC.

Beyond anything else it appears that some of our most loyal fans have missed out on tickets so Barry's mates can go support arsenal and probably mock the rest of our most loyal fans.

Home fans in an away end seems much was than the opposite because them tickets are absolutely not spare.

As for the violence it is out of order but if you laugh in peoples faces its liable to happen

Everyone in this incident is out of order. Only 1 party is on the internet blaming though

The real issue here though is that hes been consistently shite. More than happy to see the back of him

No one comes out of this well, but rounding on him like this is way over the top. The lad is upset that his mates got started on and has obviously acted when emotions were running high.

Let the club deal with it and file it under what it is, extreme naivety from a young player.

No need for all the vitriol towards him.

Shitshow all round here isn’t it.

It’s not unusual for opposing fans to be in the home/away end. I’d say we’ve all probs seen it. Filming and laughing (apparently) you’re pushing your luck and the “chat shot get banged” crowd will welcome that behaviour to justify their own insecurity and anger. And I think with the social narrative at the moment I’m not surprised how it went.

Personally I wouldn’t sit in the opposing end and certainly wouldn’t goad them while filming. But each to their own. I’m really disappointed that the blues did lash out as I like to hold us in higher regard than other fans for some reason. I also think friendship is a powerful think and it’s no surprise he highlighted it because I think if you’re loyal to your mates you stick with them in public and have a word in private.

Not sure if that translates to a life in the public eye though.

Dipshit behaviour all around but I naturally have less sympathy toward the people being violent when they’re not actually in danger of feel unsafe.

Is anyone rounding on him. He has been shite. This incident seems to have led to him being judged on his performances rather than his nice smile and blind hope he will do well

Yes, plenty are. We all know your opinion of him, you don't have to repeat yourself continuously.

Yes, look on here and social media.

A lot of fans are definitely rounding up on him.

He needs support from the club now and that includes the fans.

He also has to take responsibility and get on with it, but when he’s seen his mates attacked I get the feeling it’s beyond fixing now.

Grim all round like

My main take away is - wow you’ve got horrendous friends Thierno!

I’ve had friends come and watch me play football and play music with my band and they always cheered me on, sometimes they’ve had to pay to do so as well

I’d suggest these aren’t friends at all and are using him

Don’t condone those that hit his ‘friends’ obviously but a sure fire way to do that would be to not celebrate when the opposition scores against the team your ‘friend’ is playing for when surrounded by fans of the team who have just conceded
