Class interview that. Really enjoyed it. Really highlights the importance of having Seamus around the club still, despite some of the misgivings some people have had.

And beautiful to hear about Coleman and his influence and impact on us as a club.

I don't think anyone has misgivings about him being around the club, fully deserves to still be here cutting his teeth as a coach, just not on a playing contract.

Moyes said the other day Coleman doesn't really enjoy the coaching side of things. So they probably gave him a playing contract just to keep his influence around. Seems like a smart decision.

Exactly. We cant be paying someone a playing contract cos they are good in the dressing room

Hard to care though. He deserves it.

He's spent the last 6 years doing his badges so he must have some interest in coaching. Great to have him around, load of sentimental nonesense to give him another contract given how little he's been able to play over the last three or four seasons though.

Yeah people were saying renewing Keane to be fourth choice was a waste of money, love Coleman but nonsense giving him this year

It’s going to be good enough to get someone a place at the World Cup

Renewing Keane was always the best option, has been significant this season.

I think there's a different type of influence in a dressing room when you're a coach vs a player.

A player is still "one of the lads", that's not the case with a coach.

Either way, fully believe Keane when he says we'd have gone down without Coleman. Characters are what kept us up and why others have gone down.

Money well spent if hes that much of an influence, while some new leaders develop and take over, like KDH.
