Re: Thierno Barry
He will likely go anyway, never seems to stay at any club for longer than a season.
The problem is he'll probably just go out on loan somewhere because no one will want to buy him for at least the same amount we paid for him.

Re: Thierno Barry
The issue is he doesn't graft and as Everton fans we can't cope with that. We thought Lukaku was lazy FFS.
Re: Thierno Barry
Put this on the match thread, but I'm putting it here too:
I want Barry gone in the summer. I don't care if he has supposed potential. I think he is shit, will never be good enough and doesn't get us at all. He should go to Italy or somewhere like that where he can freely wander around like he doesn't care. We can't afford to carryha moody, patchy striker who does not put the effort in.

Re: Thierno Barry
Going to be a knee jerk response, but either he doesn’t want to be here or doesn’t want it enough right now. Beto with whatever limitations you ascribe to him shows that effort does impact a game, at the very least you have to match that level of effort particularly in a derby game.
Dude pressured almost nothing, won almost nothing and just looked like he was swanning around. Found him so, sofrustrating to watch there.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see him go back to La Liga this summer.

Re: Thierno Barry
I don't think it's knee jerk. We have a whole season of very clear evidence.blueToffee wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 3:20 pm Going to be a knee jerk response, but either he doesn’t want to be here or doesn’t want it enough right now. Re: Thierno Barry
That was fucking disgraceful
Jogging around like it's a Friday night kick about.
Just fuck off out the club. Never want to see him again.

Re: Thierno Barry
Feels like he plays for himself and not the team, just wanted today to do something he could celebrate rather than grafting and helping the team where it mattered.
The bigger issue with him is that he started so unbelievably poorly after signing, sort of had a patch where you could see his potential, but as the season has progressed he's got progressively worse, to the point he's a total non entity on the pitch.
A 23 year old new to a league is someone I'm willing to give time to, however I want to see some signs of development over the season. Right now I have zero confidence this guy will ever be a premier league striker.

Re: Thierno Barry
He'll never do enough to win over the fans at this point.
Needs to be sold for everyone's sake.

Re: Thierno Barry
He killed us today.
He looks like he'd rather be anywhere other than on the field, totally disinterested.
As i posted in the matchday thread, i want him gone.
Weather we take a loss on him, or even have to loan him out, just get rid

Re: Thierno Barry
Genuinely don't think there's any coming back from that sub performance after the ways things have gone for him recently. Couldn't be less arsed and I hope Moyes benches him against Palace even in Beto's absence.
Re: Thierno Barry
Yeah it looks over for him now doesn't it.
Bar the purple patch it hasn't looked like he's wanted to be here.
