You just know Leeds would love to get a late winner and turn this gaffe into a morgue.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
You look at that sort of non-decision by the referee when there was pretty clear contact and it does feel like refs are avoiding these consequential calls of late. Presumably with the idea that VAR will do something if they don't.
Sometimes though that just ends up with a circle of indecision with VAR letting things go though as deference to referee on the pitch, or making up what is or what is not a clear and obvious error on a whim.

I watched the first leg of that and if either of those teams went up, they'd be heading straight back down you'd think.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Obviously he's a good player but Maddison was one of the big reasons Leicester went down, so it's funny to see him coming on as saviour character here.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Was there some rumour about Maddison recently? Something about when he was at Cheltenham or some such?
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Never better illustrated than when the ref pointed to the spot at Leicester when we were already 2-1 down and at that moment you think it's all over we are going down and he misses and Iwobi equalises and we are still alive.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2026 8:39 pm The highs and lows of a relegation battle. You score and it feels like you're going to leave your body, you concede and it's like the sky has caved in.
They then concede 5 at Fulham and we hit 5 at brighton, and it's in our own hands.
It's horrible just to be involved

Oh my 13 minutes injury time?
For what?? Are they trying to fix the game?

Haven't been keeping up with the game.
13 mins?
Has a very "Alex iwobi" goal feel too it.
