Michael Keane
Re: Michael Keane
I think it's more the partnership than Keane, it would be quite easy to also pull up the same stats for Tarks.
Difference for Tarks is he also gets games alongside Branthwaite which makes his stats more favourable.
The reality is it's neither Keane nor Tarkowski that's the fundamental problem, it's the fact as a partnership they're horrible unless we play a low block.

Re: Michael Keane
This can't happen next season.
They are too slow as pair and have been really exposed since Branthwaite went off in the derby.
Quite frankly they've been awful and they were at fault for Haalands goal ,both of palaces and were a mess yesterday as well

Him and his mate have been fighting relegation 90% of their top flight careers.
Sometimes if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it is probably a duck.
Re: Michael Keane
Confident he wouldn't get anywhere near another Premier League side.
We just love handing out contracts to players we should be moving on.

Re: Michael Keane
Not good enough to be playing most weeks but he was meant to be 4th choice.
The problem with getting rid is that we always have too much to do. Changing our 4th choice centre half is always way down the list when your constantly adding more shite to the squad
Would love him to be replaced by a top young player but we cant identify prospects, we dont provide a good pathway for young players and weve got about 7 of our first 11 that needs replacing first

Michael Keane
If we sign a rb he’s fourth choice next year and no problem with that. If he starts more than twenty games we’re in trouble

Re: Michael Keane
Was a mistake to renew his contract. I’d happily waste a chunk of our budget paying up the remainder of the Keane, Tarkowski and Mykolenko contracts to never see them again even if it meant playing cardboard cutouts in their place

Re: Michael Keane
Of course not but he went from being amazing to being way below average towards the endsam of the south wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2026 9:12 pm Can’t help with the slow, shaky, clumsy, and predictable shite in front of him
Id have no clue who should be player of the year. Probably none of them really. Don't think there's a single 1 who hasnt been a little disappointing or injured a lot
Re: Michael Keane
Been saying this for too many pre seasons now, almost 90% sure JOB will be our starting right back next year.
