Re: Mykolenko
I mean it’s alright if he’s back up or being sold, but we all know he’ll be our main man again

Re: Mykolenko
Who mentioned they don't want either Myko or Keane starting next season?
Well there is one that is.
The other was they don't want us to bring in either a Soucek or Tripper or equivalent.
Only a matter of time with one or both of these or a similar seasoned pros get drafted in.
Nothing is changing, unless ofcourse it's with a view to sell Myko on but i'm not convinced that'll happen

Re: Mykolenko
All very doom and gloom isn't it?
Weirdly we all would say Moyes bought really well overall here last time, so I dunno, maybe there's some hope we might actually build a decent squad again?

Re: Mykolenko
I'm not super surprised by this, but I'd be kinda disappointed if we weren't looking to bring in someone else as a first choice (unless we think Aznou can be brought through which currently seems doubtful).
I'm starting to wonder where we're intending to spend any money though. We're keeping Myko, Keane, some rumours about makeshift RBs. Probably Grealish back on loan...although don't know if Pep going changes anything there. Probably not. Some rumours about trying to keep George for a relatively small fee. Where might we actually be looking to spend significant money?

Re: Mykolenko
Just don't see it , you don't give your regular LB a new contract to then sign someone else ....maybe in 18months at the earliest,
but funds need to be used elsewhere...just not at left back now ...
It's similar to Keane last season, saves a transfer fee , even if he's shite...

Re: Mykolenko
He’s a lower half championship player. Go and get a proper left back and while you’re at it go and get two proper right backs and all.

Hes not a lower half championship player. Thats just nonsense.
Re: Mykolenko
I've no problem with this, he'll be fine. He's never been great at going forward which I've always said is frustratiing as he can ping a ball in when he gets a chance but he's very negative on the ball, I'm not sure if that's him or the coaches that have done that. Defensively he's sound though, every player will get beaten at some point but it's not that often he does and generally he's pretty solid. We've a decent enough left back which means we can concentrate on other positions.

Re: Mykolenko
He's a solid if unspectacular PL left back, he's far better than lower half Championship, that's why it's nonesense.
