As I said, if you are building a team then those are the type of characters you don't want around. Absolute child.

Bizarre behaviour.

Expressing disappointment ok, understandable. Even at a stretch for the mum. These sorts of comments are just weird though. Maybe this is the downside to the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal being good again, the entitlement returns.

The aftermath is hilarious regarding Maguire, still think He and Trent and MGW should have gone . Discussing it like the players have to live with each other and possibly play 8 games and you can't have any bad apples which think they should be starting and being a disruptive influence.... I get all that but Tuchel going on about Players like Dan Burn being game changers if chasing a goal etc .....

Who would you rather bring on Dan Burn , Maguire? Trent or Spence?..

Not arsed really as it's not coming home anyway

Yeah, maybe it's good to have lowered expectations for England going into a tournament. It's weird though my expectations are almost on the floor for really no reason as clearly there could be a good team there. Maybe it's not even about expectations though, maybe it's more the lack of excitement?

Actually think our first eleven looks really good, especially if stones and James can stay fit.

Reevaluating my assessment that we have no chance looking at the potential first eleven.

Outside of that it is pretty average though.

The burning question for me is What the fuck does Jordan Fucking Horrendousman bring to the fucking party? His legs went 3/4 years ago and he's really not that great anyway. If you're looking for an older head to be a squad filler, then Maguire at least gives you an aerial threat from set pieces if you're chasing a game. Throw him on for the last 10/15 minutes and just launch everything at that fucking massive mutton head of his.

There'll always be a few in a squad who don't play a single minute, so I don't see the issue. He's basically Coleman for this squad, and if we're trying to see out a game he's an old head to bring some calm and on field leadership if he does end up coming on.

Not really a problem imo, it's about picking the best squad, and that can include players that people really don't agree with, but is for the good of the team

Can see both sides
Henderson to me, looks like a wasted space in a squad
However, if he's really good at making balloon animals and keeping the changing room peace I get why tuchels thought I need that support

Theoretically if you wanted you could take him without him being a part of the playing squad, and use the space for someone who'd contribute positively on the pitch. Be a bit weird though having extra players hanging around.

Was thinking this the other day. Like with Conor Coady at the last World Cup. If these characters are so amazing round the squad but not good enough to get on the pitch, surely you just add them to the coaching staff for the vibes

Served a lad who works for Liverpool a while back, funnily enough he was an Everton fan, and he said that Jordan Henderson was a great lad. That he helps the new members of the squad settle, does loads for the youth players making the step up and acted as an intermediary between the senior officials and the players

I guess in a game full of egos and prodigious young talents maybe you do need some mature characters around that will help the harmony of the squad
