Lovely patterns from Palace. Can really see the impact of this manager.

I'd agree if we were only 16 games in but only 6 to go, they've been like this all season.

Endo and Curtis Jones have been absolute trash here.
You'd be surprised to see Liverpool play this badly again 2nd half.

Can’t tell if Palace are playing well or Liverpool just playing really really poorly - commentators would have you believe that it’s the latter but that’s always the case when a Sky 6 team is losing.Bluedylan1 wrote:Lovely patterns from Palace. Can really see the impact of this manager.
Olise and Eze are levels above where Palace are - if they can keep them and keep them fit they’ll be a dark horse for Europe next season

Just the 3 Liverpool fans in the studio.
Talking about the entire game from a ''how can Liverpool get back into this'' perspective. Absolutely shameless coverage.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Bit of both. Liverpool are very leggy, but the way Palace have progressed the ball into midfield and got multiple overloads with one touch passing and movement is certainly credit to them. Roy wasn't playing anything like this. They are winning balls in the same parts of the pitch over and over again, and they are cutting through them in the same parts of the pitch, which tells you it's something they've worked on.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 1:56 pm Can’t tell if Palace are playing well or Liverpool just playing really really poorly - commentators would have you believe that it’s the latter but that’s always the case when a Sky 6 team is losing.

Wharton looks like some player in the middle.
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Think it's part of the reason I'm a bit fed up with football at the moment. It's become far too narrative driven rather than just reacting to what's happening on the pitch. There should be excitement about Crystal Palace potentially winning at Anfield with a brilliant performance and young players in attack. There should be iconic commentary moments and excitement building at the possibility but what we've basically got is LFCTV where Carragher just gets more frustrated, angry and depressed the longer that it goes on. Not a single person involved today wants Palace to win.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 1:57 pm Just the 3 Liverpool fans in the studio.

It's shit.
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Hope Palace don't go all defensive here. Need to keep Olise and Eze on the pitch to get a second.
