Yeah, Ipswich will be as bad as Luton, Leicester and Southampton both substantially weaker then when they got relegated - we’ll be fine

What's this 'war chest' you keep going on about like they're the first team to get it? Every promoted team gets a similar amount, it's usually even more but Southampton were only down for one season. It's just their share of the TV money, they won't have £125m in their bank account tomorrow morning.

Sounds like Leeds are in trouble financially.

Mentally preparing myself to have to watch Harrison for the next 4 years.

Yeah the reality is they are actually worse off than the teams that just stayed up. They've had to operate 1 season without it.

People seem to have bought into the world's richest game nonsense. No one is talking about Ipswichs 125m war chest. Like it's just a playoff thing

Southampton have already spent 20m on the centre half they have on loan from city. Be amazed if they spend more than another 40.

They are crap. We've little to fear from the promoted teams. These probably come up with as little expectations as last years

All on loan is a pretty good deal

Think we'd buy him if he's going £5m-10m. I don't think Dyche loves him but he's his ideal winger on paper.

He must be one of the most loaned out players ever.

Sucked in by the headlines without bothering to look at any of the detail

“According to data collected by accounting firm Deloitte, the winners’ revenue (spread over three years) would increase by £140m, while it would have been around £170m were they not already boosted by parachute payments.”

So it’s £140m in revenue over 3 years, which also considers two further parachute payments of £30m if they go back down

So £80m

Over 3 years

Is £26.7m a season

As long as we don’t end the transfer window significantly weaker then I’m not worried about the promoted teams. Harrison on a free loan for another year is very good for us and I’m very happy about the prospect tbh as it gives us the ability to put what limited funds we have elsewhere. If there is anything. Hopefully we can bring in some players who can get him the ball before there’s no space left to operate in and he might perform a bit better. He’ll also have more space if we can bring in another actual winger instead of having just one all season. McNeil’s not a winger.

Not beyond the realms of possibility that we could get bids for Branthwaite and DCL this window. If we can't resist the bids we'll be significantly weaker at both ends of the pitch.

If those 3 go and we are replacing with frees and loans we will be in big trouble next season
