Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
Maybe we can try something cheeky like, I don’t know, sell the TFG debt to ourselves to generate ‘income’. I mean, thats what Chelsea would do right?

This guy talks about us too much.

"Nobody wakes up and thinks, 'I get to buy Everton'. But if you decide football is what you want in your life, and then somebody comes along and asks you if you want to become the owner of Everton, it's like someone asking you if you want to be President of the United States. Of course you do.

Anyone see that usmanov is suing one of moshiri companies and that is putting prospective buyers off because he may come after money owed now it’s the Russian courts not sure how much power they have here but it seems they have fallen out

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
There is only one key phrase in the whole interview that matters:
“I don’t like Tottenham”.
That’s good enough for me.

Interim CEO Colin Chong said:
The club is aware of the comments made by John Textor in relation to a potential purchase of the club. While positive conversations and progress continues to be made with Mr Textor to formalise any deal with him there remains some work to be done to complete the transaction.
Accordingly, the comments made by Mr Textor merely represent his personal view on club matters.
Everyone at the club is staying focused on providing the best support possible to Sean and the squad as we head into the weekend’s fixture.
The club will provide updates in respect of new investment when there is material news to communicate to supporters and other stakeholders - and this will be done through official club channels.

As my mother in law would say, "he's got too much of what the cat licks it's arse with".
He should keep his mouth shut for now, he's one phone call away from talking to Jim White on Talksport.

Is there a way to somehow take neither Textor's nor Dyche's side in this slap fight? Because I wanna do that.
(it is a really stupid way for a prospective buyer/owner to act)

Something about this Textor just seems massively off for me.
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
No I don’t mind him based on what I’ve seen so far
Seems to know his apples and all being well will actually make us something approaching half decent again

Dunno but I just get the feeling he’ll meddle a bit too much on the playing side. Hopefully not too much if at all

I mean if we're trying to be be positive about it, it's probably better to have an owner who wants to be here and involved than not. Obviously there are limits to that, but in general I'd take enthused over not.
I'm still not convinced this is even happening though.

Shall we just fuck him off then and limp into administration ?
