Everybody saw it coming, Russell Martin is the wrong manager for this type of challenge. Deluded.

Almost surprised they didn't award Crystal Palace a retrospective penalty the way I heard some in the media bleating on about Tark's challenge.Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 5:25 pm Fernandes gets his red overturned

Re: Today's Football 2024-25
Maybe the CL early stages were always a bit so so, but last couple of rounds of this new format haven't been great.
That 36 team table looks pretty silly too.

Can't feign any interest in it at this stage. Like Arsenal v PSG as a 4 team group match and I'd probably give it a watch tonight. Not sure what the point is when neither of them are going to be in danger of exiting the competition. Could lose 5 matches and still end up going through.blueToffee wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 7:48 pm Maybe the CL early stages were always a bit so so, but last couple of rounds of this new format haven't been great.

Leverkusen Vs Milan is great fun.
Only 1-0 but end to end full of quality players.

Having said all that, there is always something wonderful about seeing Celtic get pumped in Europe
