Re: Great Goodison moments.
It feels unreal, like it can't actually be happening. The only positive is it won't be demolished like Maine Rd was... it will still exist as a reminder. I'm going to be very emotional on the day because 50 odd years of memories will be playing in my head...

The plan is definitely to demolish it.Paddockoldie wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 6:51 pm It feels unreal, like it can't actually be happening. This women's stadium idea, at very best, is a short stay-of-execution.
Just mad that we're only 4 months away from a lot of people finally believing we're going to build a new stadium

Re: Great Goodison moments.
Went to the Arsenal match the other week.
Lad sitting in front of me probably about 20 came in 15 minutes into the game. Scrolled through Instagram. Left on 30 minutes. Came back on 60 minutes. Scrolled through Instagram for 20 minutes. Left at 80 minutes. Barely saw him look up from his phone.
What is the point?

Got to give a lot of credit to the 1878s for yesterday. Looked incredible.
