Ye I’m v relaxed about him leaving.

ONLY question mark is if he goes then as it stands your wide options -

McNeil (shit)
Dibling (MIA)

McNeil must go surely? Even for £10 mill.

If only Palace didn't get scared off.....

Anyway, we need 5 or 6 new starters, so if selling him helps that, well ok.

Let's be honest, does anyone want to see any of these prime cuts starting next season?

Tark
Keane
O'Neil at RB
Myko
McNeil
Beto or Barry

No, me either.

We need half a starting team. If selling him gets 2 of those, or even 3 championship/unknown bargains, then it has to be done.

We spent over £100 million net last summer, we're gonna have to sell to get 6 in.

Do we really want Moyes having final say on that much money though?

Keep Ndiaye, round out the squad a bit more (Wan Bissaka, a LB etc) and keep our powder dry with one more mid table Moyes season and then give an actual progressive manager the new players the year after.

No point buying a bunch of young players as you know Moyes won’t play them and will have McNeil LW and Rohl RW

Not ideally, no.

But now that our Iraola dream has sailed away across the Stanley Park lake, I don't see the owners pulling the trigger.

Moyes will be demanding more players this summer, I doubt we can keep our powder dry until next year.

He does have a good track record of doing well with Championship players though, and that might be the pond we're fishing in due to the number we need?

It honestly doesn't sound like N'Diaye wants to stay and can you blame him?

Ndiaye and the striker seem to be the ones most exposed by our non existing patterns of play - strikers expected to feed off scraps, run channels and Ndiaye has to beat 3 players on his own and then track back to cover the right back, with little to no support.

If he goes we'll get good money just worried that we lack so much out on the wings it'll give us yet another transitory season.

I'd rather not lose him as I don't think we will get anywhere near what we want. He's a player that is more valuable to us than to any prospective buyer. As good as he can be on his day his end product is far from elite levels.

Would be interesting to see how he performs and output under an attacking manager.

If I had any confidence we would spend it wisely I'd say sell, it's not like we will miss his output. Nice skills but end product is average.

As it is we will probably waste the money anyway so I'm not arsed either way. Is what it is.

I can see him being the replacement for Silva at City.

Ideal replacement.
